3 ways CRGH create an inclusive fertility experience…

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Centre for Reproduction and Genetic Health (CRGH) is committed to providing bespoke treatment to every patient. As part of our commitment to providing truly custom care, we’re dedicated to creating an environment that’s always inclusive. We work to ensure that any patient, visiting our clinic for any reason, feels welcomed, supported and cared for.

More LGBTQ+ patients than ever before are starting the exciting journey towards parenthood. By creating an inclusive environment we believe we can make that journey more welcoming and remove some of the unnecessary stressors that accompany not feeling seen or understood during such an important journey.

Here are the three ways in which we strive to create an inclusive fertility clinic:

Our Team

We believe that our team should be as diverse as our patients. We commit to providing equal opportunities to every employee, regardless of age, race, religion, gender or sexuality – it’s this commitment to diversity which ensures that we can offer the same inclusivity to our patients. By creating a team which truly reflects our patients, we can provide outstanding, empathetic care without exception. We also invest in inclusivity training across all of our teams to ensure we’re up to date with best practice.

Our treatment options

Our founding principle is to provide the best possible chance of success to every patient. . . “Fertility treatment” no longer just means IVF; we offer a huge range of treatment types. From IUI through to shared motherhood, treatment with donor sperm through to surrogacy, we cover a range of treatment options for every type of patient need. Most importantly, we have highly trained and dedicated teams responsible for guiding you through each treatment journey . Our expert understanding of less-common treatment types means our patients can be safe in the knowledge that they are in the best hands.

Support and partnerships

CRGH has nurtured a unique set of internal teams and external partners to provide support to all of our patients, regardless of their situation. These relationships help create inclusivity on two fronts. Firstly, we’re able to improve our services based on first hand feedback. Secondly, this allows us to put our patients in contact with people in similar situations. Our long running partnership with TwoDadsUK and LGBT Mummies provides unparalleled insight into the unique challenges that LGBTQ+ people encounter on their journey to parenthood. Furthermore, our in house well-being team has been created specifically to support the varying emotional aspects of fertility treatment. For those trying to conceive using donated sperm or eggs, or via a surrogate, our well-being team can provide tailored counselling and support.

At CRGH we know that inclusivity is an ongoing process. As the landscape of fertility treatment continues to change, we are committed to always adapting and learning. . Ensuring we provide an inclusive environment for your journey is essential to ensuring every patient has the best possible chance of success.
